Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty) suffered a net loss of EGP 29 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2016, compared to a net profit of EGP 31.3 million for Q4-15.
Consolidated net profit for FY16 declined 80% to EGP 25.6 million from EGP 128.7 million for FY15, according to a bourse filing.
Revenues amounted to EGP 1.7 billion in FY16, 21.6% up from EGP 1.4 billion for FY15.
Standalone net profit fell in FY16 to EGP 23.2 million from EGP 125.4 million for FY15.
Foreign exchange losses amounted to EGP 86.4 million in FY16, another statement said.
The company will hold an ordinary general meeting (OGM) on 23 April to discuss the financial statements for the year ended on 31 December 2016.
