The dynamics of Egypt’s changing political, economic, financial, regulatory and monetary systems to the international markets will come under limelight at the upcoming Euromoney Egypt Conference in Cairo.

The 20th anniversary of the conference will take place on September 7 and 8, and will feature finance and investment professionals. Hany Kadry Dimian, Egypt’s Minister of Finance, will open the conference giving an overview of the macro-economic environment, growth, unemployment, inflation and the subsidy programme.
“Egypt is very important to Euromoney, and Euromoney is important to Egypt. We’ve been telling the Egyptian story for 20 years and we look forward to doing so for another 20,” said Richard Banks, consulting editor and conference chairman for Euromoney Conferences.

Euromoney brings focus, insight and independence to the debates about Egypt’s economic and investment future. The two-day event will also discuss the opportunities available for investment and partnership.

The conference will look at the current mega projects taking place in Egypt, with workshops discussing the Suez Canal Corridor, energy & electricity, real estate, construction & housing, credit markets, private and public equity and SMEs in the new Egypt. More than 1,000 delegates will attend from all over the world – most involved directly with investment into Egypt.

“We’re about driving capital towards productive investments in Egypt,” added Banks. “There are many new opportunities here in Egypt which require the rigor, focus and technology which only global capital can bring.”
