The US ” State Department”  announced that Secretary of state Johan Kerry will embark on an African tour this week,  that will take him to Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola to encourage democracy, promote respect for human rights in addition to boosting trade, investment and partnership in the African continent.

In a statement, spokeswoman for the State Department  Jen Pskai said Kerry will hold talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam  Desalegn and Foreign   Minister Tedros  Adhanomon peace efforts in the region and boosting American-Ethiopian relations.

In Kinshasa, Kerry will discuss with president Joseph Kabila “how progress in neutralizing some of the dozens of dangerous armed groups that Victimize  the Congolese people can be consolidated ” Paski said,   I am not upbeat over Kerry’s tour and I am not really sure it is meant to encourage democracy and boots trade in the black continent.  I rather expect it is an extension of the Bush-Obama-Kerry scenario for the Middle East and Africa. I believe such kind of tours have more bad intentions, especially in Ethiopia with the aim of controlling third world countries.
