Oman’s Ministry of Culture and Heritage will be awarding the construction contract for the Oman Cultural Complex project in the last quarter of 2015. The contract will be announced in the last quarter of 2015. Four companies have submitted financial bids on 28 July, 2015, according to Oman’s Tender Board website. Dawood Trading and Contracting has emerged as the lowest bidder at OR 82.67 million ($214.73 million) while Carillion Alawai LLC submitted the highest bid at OR 96.92 million ($251.74 million). Galfar Engineering & Contracting S.A.O.G and and Oman Shapoorji Company LLC also bid for the tender, which was floated in August 2014.
