Dr Abla Abdel-Latif, the head of the specialised council of the economic development, revealed that a new national project for developing the Egyptian  governorates will be announced in November.

The new project involves the construction of a group of industrial complexes, that in addition to other utilitarian projects, for recycling the garbage using the resources available in the immediate surrounding environment and make use of them to generate  alternative energy. In cooperation of the ministry of electricity, the first phase of this mega project will be implemented in “Qalubiya” governorate .

The Middle East Observer expects that the announcement of launching the first phase of the thousand factory project will take place early next month.

According to Abdel-Latif, the infrastructure and utilities needed for those suggested factories have been accomplished since last July. “As to the items included the memorandums that will be signed were approved,” he stated, and referred to the loans that will be granted for buying all the equipments and machinery needed from the social development fund, besides connecting them to the Egyptian industrial union for marketing the products and completing the construction in coordination with one of the developers and the governorates.

Worth mentioning that the first specialised city for youth industries is being planned on an area of 38 acres in Al-Khanka region in Qalubiya governorate, 45 kilometres far from Cairo.

As part of the long term development 2032 plan upon instructions by the President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the new projects would encourage small and medium enterprises, as well as to create 5,000 job opportunities for the young Egyptians.
