Al Tayyar Travel Group, the largest travel and tourism company in Saudi Arabia, has extended its agreement with Travelport, a leading travel commerce platform.
The extended deal enhances the strategic co-operation between both companies and reaffirms Al Tayyar Travel Group’s commitment to expand their online business. To achieve this, Al Tayyar Travel Group will take advantage of Travelport’s cutting-edge technology, Travelport Universal API. The Universal API is an application programminginterface that enables travel agencies to streamline their booking processes and access all of Travelport’s unrivalled content which includes branded fares and ancillaries from the leading national and low cost carriers, as well as an unrivalled 650,000 hotels.
As part of the agreement, offline travel agencies that form part of Al Tayyar Travel Group will benefit from Travelport Smartpoint, the industry leading merchandising and desktop technology that enables access to Travelport’s extensive travel content inventory (as outlined above) and significantly improves the selling experience for travel agents.
