Tanzania-Egypt International Exhibition kicks off today, showcasing products of more than 51 Egyptian companies that represent chemicals, fertilisers, construction materials, and engineering tools sectors. The exhibition, held from May 25 to 29, is organised by the Egyptian Chemical Export Council (CEC) under the 1st Egyptian-Tanzanian Economic Forum, which took place in the Tanzanian capital Dar es Salaam yesterday.

The forum saw the contribution of 150 businessmen from both countries to discuss boosting mutual investment and trade cooperation. Ahmed Barakat, Chairman of Expo One Company which organised the forum and the exhibition, said that Tanzania will be the first stop to the exhibitions and conferences that are to be held in 4 African countries over 2016. These conform to the state’s policy of pumping Egyptian products to the African markets, which are very promising, yet need constant contribution by Egyptian companies.
