The Ministry of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) organised last Sunday a ceremony to honour a number of Holy Quraan reciters across the nation.
In his speech, Chairman of the Religious Sector at the Awqaf Ministry Mohamed Omar called for applying the teachings of the Holy Quran to develop the Egyptian society. The prizes given to 150 Quraan reciters ranged between LE5,00 and LE10,000.
