Egypt’s Gama inks EGP 168m deal with italian Vinavil

Gama, an Egypt-based private construction company that delivers turnkey construction projects and solutions, said Thursday that it has signed a contract worth around EGP 168 million with Vinavil, an Italian manufacturer specialised in industrial polymers and the provision of services in the chemical industry, and one of the largest European chemical polymerisation companies. The contract aims to execute the second phase of Vinavil’s Egypt plant, located in Ataqa Industrial Area of Suez during 2017, according to a statement.

Under the contract, Gama will provide a full range of construction services including civil, electromechanical, construction, and infrastructure work, which is scheduled for completion during the next twelve months. Amr AlTawil, CEO of Gama and Triangle Group, said: “Gama is a major contributor to the light industrial sector in Egypt, with approximately 60% market share. We are truly proud that Vinavil has joined our clients’ network, and we are looking forward to being a long term service provider, Over the last two decades, Gama has a proven record track of success in executing mega-projects that have a positive impact on Egypt’s economy and growth rate. ”
