US tuition fees are the most expensive and Norway’s are the cheapest
A study conducted by Acarih, a Turkish corporate specialized in organising educational fairs abroad, uncovered that the US has the most expensive tuition fees and Kazakhstan is on the top of countries with the cheapest tuition fees.
The study included universities’ tuition fees and living costs in 38 countries across the world. US tuition costs a student $38k yearly whereas the cost of one year’s tuition in Canada is $34k, followed by Switzerland and Australia’s tuitions which cost $27k and $25k, respectively, according to Acarih’s study.
The least public universities’ tuitions in the US cost $23k yearly; the housing and living costs start from $15k per one year. On the other hand, the cost of one year’s tuition in Canada’s public universities starts from $20k and as for housing and living costs, they are valued at $14k.
Kazakhstan’s one year tuition costs $500 which makes it on the top of countries with the cheapest tuition fees. In addition, Acarih’s study mentioned that the housing and living costs in Kazakhstan start from $4k yearly.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, preceded by Kazakhstan, has tuition fees of $6k, followed by Georgia and Ukraine which offer tuition at the cost of $7500 yearly whereas Russia’s one year’ tuition costs $8k.
According to Acarih’s study, Norway’s tuition fees are the cheapest as they cost only $200. As for France, Germany and Italy’s tuition fees, they cost $250, $550 and $800, respectively.
The study included tuition fees in Asian countries; India universities’ tuition, along with housing and living costs, costs $16.500k whereas Japan tuition costs $13.500k. China, Taiwan and Malaysia’s tuitions cost $12.500k, 10.500k and $10k, respectively.
